Greater Haverhill office received $21,000 in funds for Rent/Mortgage and Utility Assistance in Emergency Food and Shelter Program Funds (EFSP/FEMA). EFSP funds provide clients an opportunity to meet an immediate need concerning safe housing. There are many reasons residents face eviction, homelessness, or loss of utility services. A prospective recipient of EFSP funds must demonstrate the ability to meet living expenses on her or his own following EFSP assistance. The EFSP funds allow Community Services staff to assist local residents in need.
