The Center for Family Outreach (The Center) helps Larimer County youth ages 8-18 and their families achieve and sustain long-term positive relationships. The Center offers services to both youth and their guardians. For youth, the Center offers one-on-one case manager supervision, classes addressing a wide variety of adolescent issues (including those that are gender specific), service learning, substance use testing/monitoring, group therapy, and enrichment activities. All youth have an intake appointment with a case manager and a parent/guardian to determine which services are best for them. The average fee for youth programming is $250.00; scholarships may be available depending on eligibility. The Center also offers support to parents and guardians of adolescents. We hold a weekly support group on Mondays from 5:30-6:30 Pm as well as a weekly lunch information series on Tuesdays from 12:00-1:00 Pm. The Monday support group is open and interactive. Attendees learn useful parenting tips, exchange ideas, and share sources of struggle and strength. The weekly Tuesday information series features a different guest speaker each week. Guest speakers cover a variety of topics concerning the care of adolescents, such as mental health, positive after-school alternatives, and relationship building. Parents/guardians are welcome to either group at any time, and both groups are free. For more information or to receive a calendar of presenters, please e-mail Brooke Jostad at brookej@tcffo.org. Our hours of operation are: Monday/Wednesday: 8:00 Am-6:00 Pm Tuesday/Thursday: 9:00 Am-6:00 Pm Friday: 8:00 Am-3:00 Pm
